In this session, we will introduce you to the basics of making candles. We’ll show you how to mix wax and wick in different ratios so that it’s easy for anyone at any level of expertise or experience to make their own beautiful candle creations.

You can use one type of wax like paraffin or soy, a variety of colors and scents, or even natural ingredients like avocado pits!

You’ll leave the workshop with your very own set of instructions on how to create perfect homemade candles every single time. The basic candle making kit comes with all the tools necessary (candle mould, thermometer, metal spoon) as well as several types of wicks: cotton core wire wicks; braided cotton rope wicks; cotton cords.

Basic candle making kit: A metal spoon or small plastic spatula (to stir), a thermometer (to check temperature), stirring sticks/Popsicle sticks (for mixing wax and dye) & molds with openings at least two inches wide soy wax flakes, wax dyes, essential oils and wicks.
